Trip Charge– Our Standard Trip Charge for domestic appliances is $135+ tax, the Trip Charge may vary for our High-end appliances which includes Built-in refrigeration. Once the diagnosis is completed, you will receive an estimate for the repair cost. If you choose to proceed with the repair, the trip charge will be included and factored in as a component to the total repair cost. The total price is calculated as trip charge + parts + labor + tax.
Labor– includes employee knowledge, expertise and hands-on repair and service of the appliance.
Parts– includes part price, shipping & handling, and parts guarantee coverage.
*Apartment buildings, large complexes, boats, RV’s or any type of property that is difficult or time-consuming to access may have an additional charge.

Their service and work was head and shoulders above what I have experienced with other repair people over the years. We were in a tough spot and they came out of their normal service area with a reasonable travel fee, which saved the day (and the food in our fridge!).
We have seen them a few times in total and have been so impressed with their thoroughness. Oliver works on Viking appliances and he’s great!

Both he and his colleague worked with great care and attention to detail, demonstrating that they truly care about their customers and the quality of their work. After completing the repair, they tested the dishwasher thoroughly, ensuring there were no leaks and that every function was operating perfectly before reinstalling it into the counter space.

Couldn't be close to Reality.
While the service was Good, the technician was nice and answered my queries (hence the 3 stars), the pricing was a SHOCKER .. I paid $450 to replace a terminal block on my Oven !!!
A charge of $135 to come diagnose.
Fair I thought (maybe the prices went up).. the tech found the terminal block had fried ...but then I got hit by a $250 charge for fixing it (which was just replacing a terminal block).
I couldn't make sense of how it costs $135 till the point of diagnosis.. & then $250 from that point on to add a terminal block (a small part & 3 wires as shown in picture) & put the oven back.
Granted he said he'll charge me a bit to pull out my microwave to access the wires (took him 5 mins) .. but dang $250 !!!
Totalling to $450 !!!
That works out to > $250 an hour!
It was a bit unreal, but I had to get back to my meetings, so I paid & called them next day to check if the pricing was fair.
They told me a senior tech would take a look and call me back .. it's been 10 days since... Haven't heard back.
Meanwhile I asked around & used AI to figure out what it costs for such a repair. This was way above top dollar. VERY PRICEY!! Hence the review.
P.S - Called the manufacturer Frigidaire. Their own technical (or contract) would charge $190 + the part price for this repair.
Oliver has been out to help us at least 3 times over the years. He's professional, kind, honest, and takes time to explain. This last visit, he came to repair my stove which he did quickly. But after hearing the issues I was having with another company who was supposed to come and install a newly purchased washer he stepped in and offered to help me. I really appreciated his willingness to step in, going above and beyond his original service call, to help me solve for another appliance issue that was a little bit complicated. Highly recommend Appliance Mechanics!!
