Our refrigerator was new, still under warranty, when the problem developed, and we waited many, many months for the manufacturer to find someone to replace our damaged freezer door. That all changed once Appliance Mechanics got involved. We got an appointment scheduled promptly, and when AM's technician Oliver came today, within minutes he had pulled the damaged door and installed a replacement, correctly this time. He was pleasant, thoroughly professional, knew exactly what needed to be done and how to accomplish it. Now we finally have the new fridge we'd thought we purchased! The technician and company were great to work with. Getting the replacement part through KitchenAid was quite challenging, but they didn’t give up. They did their best coordinating with KitchenAid, kept me informed throughout the process, and even helped me secure the part through the warranty.

Highly professional, reliable and determined repair techs.
Their service and work was head and shoulders above what I have experienced with other repair people over the years. We were in a tough spot and they came out of their normal service area with a reasonable travel fee, which saved the day (and the food in our fridge!).
We have seen them a few times in total and have been so impressed with their thoroughness. Oliver works on Viking appliances and he’s great!

'Oliver' Came to my house when he said he would..."on time!" He and the other technician listened to my explanation of the problem I was having with my washing machine, and diagnosed the issue. it is now up and running just fine. Ray was friendly and efficient. He diagnosed the issue and fixed my washer in about 30 minutes and answered all of my questions while he was at it. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing and either had prior experience with the issue or had done his research because he had the part I needed in the van ready to go and made the process very easy.

I highly recommend Appliance Mechanics. My KitchenAid dishwasher makes a gurgling noise about 40 mins into a normal wash cycle and repeats every 7 mins until the cycle advances to the heating phase. Other companies tried to find the issue but none could and they ended up leaving without fixing it. The technician from Appliance Mechanics listened to the recording I had of the gurgling noise and immediately knew what the possible root cause was. He took apart and inspected the suspected parts, showed and explained to me the reason for the noise. Fast forward to a week later he returned with the replacement parts and got it fixed. He had a trainee with him and they were both punctual, tidy, and polite. I definitely appreciate the professionalism, expertise and attention to details. Cost wise, the repair was covered by the extended warranty so I didn’t have to pay.

This company does what they say. They diagnosed our problem. Got the parts ordered and delivered right to our house. The kept us informed along the way. Daniel was prompt, courteous and efficient. He knows what he is doing. It is difficult to find appliance repair companies these days and some out there are not too responsive. These folks are the best I have found. Thank you for a great job.

Decided to call them after hearing from a neighbor that they charge $90 to come out & it goes towards cost of repair.
Couldn't be close to Reality.
While the service was Good, the technician was nice and answered my queries (hence the 3 stars), the pricing was a SHOCKER .. I paid $450 to replace a terminal block on my Oven !!!
A charge of $135 to come diagnose.
Fair I thought (maybe the prices went up).. the tech found the terminal block had fried ...but then I got hit by a $250 charge for fixing it (which was just replacing a terminal block).
I couldn't make sense of how it costs $135 till the point of diagnosis.. & then $250 from that point on to add a terminal block (a small part & 3 wires as shown in picture) & put the oven back.
Granted he said he'll charge me a bit to pull out my microwave to access the wires (took him 5 mins) .. but dang $250 !!!
Totalling to $450 !!!
That works out to > $250 an hour!
It was a bit unreal, but I had to get back to my meetings, so I paid & called them next day to check if the pricing was fair.
They told me a senior tech would take a look and call me back .. it's been 10 days since... Haven't heard back.
Meanwhile I asked around & used AI to figure out what it costs for such a repair. This was way above top dollar. VERY PRICEY!! Hence the review.
P.S - Called the manufacturer Frigidaire. Their own technical (or contract) would charge $190 + the part price for this repair.

Oliver is very thorough & good at explaining stove operations. None of my friends could explain why I wasn't getting the browning & cooking on underside of a 12 pound turkey bird. He was able to get the repair parts quickly. An returned to my place quickly to install the parts.
